With a deep appreciation for the beauty and uniqueness of wood, my journey in woodworking began many years ago, influenced by my father, who was a skilled woodworker and turner.

As a former finish and trim carpenter, I’ve crafted cabinets and completed kitchen remodels, immersing myself in the intricate details of the craft.

Upon embracing early retirement, I seized the opportunity to acquire additional equipment and delve further into the captivating art of woodturning.

I prioritize the use of local woods, creating items that are both aesthetically pleasing and functional. My goal is to enhance the natural features found within the wood, often incorporating stone or epoxy resin fills to achieve structural integrity and visual appeal. Finally, I polish the surfaces and finish them with pure carnauba wax, ensuring all serving pieces are food safe.
